I'm sure we've all been there:
You've had the same haircut for a while (let's be real, you've had the same haircut for years) and you're thinking, "You know, I could go for a change. I should do something new, something sassy, something unexpected with my hair." Maybe it's the change of seasons. Maybe it's the end of a relationship. Maybe you're just sick of your ponytail. Whatever.
And so you scour magazines looking for photos of women with the hair you want. In an effort to remain practical you actually look for women with the same type of hair that you have. For example, with my natural waves, I'm never gonna have Keri Russell's adorable curls or Lucy Lawless's positively reflective straight hair. So I realize that I've gotta work with what I've got. You take these photos to your stylist brimming with hope and exuberance.
But what if you haven't been taking care of your hair? What if you've gone the route of "less is more" when it comes to your personal grooming?
What if your stylist says to you, "Face the facts, girl. It's all gotta come off!"
Well, then you might look my cat, Pasha. And then you might just be a teensy, weensy bit sorry that you refused to have your hair brushed.
What do you think, should I buy her a sweater?

oh my...she doesn't look too happy-thank goodness my cats are shorthaired!!!
Oh. My. Heck. Can you even look at that with a straight face now? I would be laughing my butt off every time she walked by!! ROFL!!
That is one pissed kitty!
I feel her pain. After I had Gremlin, I went the straight iron route on my very curly hair. For a long time. I stopped when big chunks started breaking off.
I think you might be able to knit a sweater from all the left over cat hair. I know I could knit a whole new cat!
Oh, POOR kitty!!
BWAHAHAHA! Ahem. I mean...awwwww, poor baby...
I had a long haired cat for a lot of years, and she not only resisted being brushed but we were so inept that we never seemed to get her thick undercoat properly. Every summer, we'd have her shaved like that - both to keep her cooler and to get rid of the mats. Ooooooh, the indignity!!!
Mind if I link to this? I know some people who could use a good laugh.
OMG that's freakin hilarious.
Link away nuzzie, link away!
The kitty has no dignity left at this point, so what's a few more people laughing at her?
At least the other 2 cats have quit hissing at her...
Oh poor baby! But that is pretty hysterical. Especially the look on her face.
Oh my gosh! What a ticked-off face! That is hysterical. Poor Pasha...(hahahahahahahahhaha)!
Hi! I found you on Dysd Housewife. This is too funny. Would it be considered child abuse if I got the same exact hair cut for my 13 year old, you know, punishment for all the eye rolling, finger wagging, hands on hips, steam coming out the ears, and holes stomped in my floor?
Just wondering.
