I took a day last week and said, "Forget about the yard sale for today. It's a gorgeous day, the strawberries are ripe and it's time to show your son where food comes from."
So we met Good Attorney and her son Little Z for some very old-fashioned fun.

yay! We grow strawberries in a tiny patch in our back yard... We've enjoyed our own strawberries every year (they're perennials) except one, when the husband lost his brain for a moment and sprayed the strawberries plants with ant killer....
How awesome is that?
My picture is posted at the strawberry fields warning them not to let me enter. I eat too many strawberries when picking them. ; )
what a great day-when my daughter was little she would almost eat her weight in strawberries when we went picking!
I can't wait for strawberry season. It's still a few weeks off in Maryland.
We went blueberry picking last August and J still talks about it.
Will Grasshopper share some please? I love strawberries!
Oh man, there's nothing like fresh-picked strawberries in the warm weather! yum!
